Industry Veteran, Bob Dinkel, Joins JB Cubed as Executive Vice President

Former CA Executive Tapped to Facilitate Firm’s Growth and Increase Market Awareness

May 23, 2007 — Herndon, Virginia — JB Cubed, the leading facilitator of IT innovation to the Federal marketplace, announced today that respected Federal business leader Bob Dinkel has joined the company as Executive Vice President. In this newly created role, Dinkel will drive the firm’s Federal business and will oversee the expansion of its Federal client base.

Dinkel joins JB Cubed with over 25 years of extensive software and services experience in senior leadership roles at CA (formerly Computer Associates), Johnson Systems, and Dataware. Dinkel most recently served as Senior Alliances Director, Federal Division at CA, where he built and managed a team dedicated to working with a broad spectrum of systems integrators (SIs). Dinkel’s previous experience includes international and field sales operations involving mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. As a Senior Vice President, in CA's Global Professional Services Division, Dinkel was responsible for and built CA Services Inc (CASI) unit to a staff of over 400 with revenues exceeding 75 million.

“I’m excited about the growth opportunity at JB Cubed and leveraging my 20+ years of software and services experience to help chart an expanded course for JB Cubed,” Dinkel said. “Initially, I plan to focus on broadening the number of contract vehicles we offer our clients and branding JB Cubed as a full services provider of IT innovation to the Federal marketplace. I see the need for a comprehensive source for services such as GSA schedule preparation and maintenance, federal-specific marketing strategies, and K Street government affairs assistance, which I expect we’ll initially partner with firms to fulfill. JB Cubed has a great track record and provides the foundation for solid growth.”

Dinkel’s presence and commitment to the Washington D.C. area is evidenced by his extensive volunteer efforts, both personal and professional. He is a founding partner of the American Cancer Society’s Capital Barons initiative and serves on the Board of Director of the Fairfax, VA chapter of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and is a Trustee at the Connelly School of the HC. Dinkel is also active in the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), Tech Council of Maryland (TCM), DC Tech Council, ITAA, and the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) including past Board assignments on the NVTC and TCM.

“Executives of Bob’s talent and experience are rarely available,” said Jim Beaupre, CEO of JB Cubed and past-Co-Chairman of IAC’s ELC. “I’m very excited to have him join our leadership team and I look forward to his guidance and insight as we move JB Cubed into our next stage of evolution. Adding Bob will help us to continue to provide expanded value and measurable results to clients.”

“Bob is an outstanding member of the federal community and a well-respected executive. He brings not only a rich legacy of success to JB Cubed, but a powerful vision and a level of enthusiasm that is contagious,” said John Sanders, long-time JB Cubed Board member. “Bob’s arrival accelerates the company’s evolution.”
